The Bible Through Middle Eastern Eyes
The Bible was born in the Middle East, written by people who lived, spoke, traveled, worshiped, and understood life within a Middle Eastern world. To read the Bible through Middle Eastern eyes is to step into that world and explore the geography, culture, language, customs, hospitality, family relationships, honor and shame, agriculture, and everyday life that shaped the biblical story. When we understand how the original people heard these words, familiar passages often take on greater depth and clarity. Our goal is not to change the meaning of Scripture, but to restore its original context, allowing us to hear the Bible more closely as its first audiences would have heard it.
